Hair thinning on side of head

18 year old here who's pretty much accepted he has MPD, but I noticed something recently and wondered why my hair was thinning so much on the sides of my head?

But I thought MPD did not affect the sides of the head? My hair looks normal when it hasn't been clippered with a 2 and a 1 like here

Well it's been slightly improved. I still have an area that's thin, but I'm not too concerned.yet lol

Have you been using any products for the improvement or is it natural?

I was prescribed minoxidil, but it was too much work so I took biotin, and centrum vitamins and it sped up the rate my hair grew. I was still shedding quite a bit, but it's slowly stopping rn.
