20 years old with receding hairline, whats your opinion?

    Hello!
First time posting on this forum, so here is my story.
Im twenty years old, and have noticing some receding at my hairline (Started around 18-19) and its destroying my self confidence. I've always had a strong and nice longhair, its my only pride on my body. My hair have always made me more pleasing to look at (Ugly face and not so tall) but now my body is taking it away from me...

I did some researched and started taking minoxidil on my hairline just to see if i get some results and started drinking brewers yeast everyday(Heard stories of increase in hair growth) And been considering getting on finasteride. To get finasteride in my country i need prescription from my doctor.

My father have not balded but had some strong receding hairline and my mother father lost all his hair on his head because of a skin disease (not mpb) but had some strong receding before he lost all his hair.

So my question, how does my receding hairline look like on the norwood scale? And the rest of my scalp, do you see anything else? What should i do?

Thank you for your help! And sorry for my bad English.

It's a Norwood two, which can be several centimeters from the hairline. It is definitely receding.

You are smart to start taking Minoxidil. Finasteride would definitely more than likely grow most of it back on it's own.

The combination of both Finasteride and Minoxidil can gain up to eighty five percent back. Minoxidil will work for people who start losing your hair.

It's never easy. My hair was once decent looking, up until my early twenties. Then my forehead went North as well.

Expect around three to four months of shedding. It's only a one time thing with Minoxidil. Once it stops, you won't shed again.
